Not the hat for everyone, but if you've been looking for something like this . . . or have just bought the Amazon best selling leather car coat . . . it is way cool. Very nice hat, pleasantly aged although a few minutes with a really stiff brush, perhaps a little fine sandpaper, will make it into a legacy. Naturally my head falls between their official XL and XXL so I ordered the XL in hopes of a nice fit . . . and it is, just a hair snug but as soon as I walked outdoors into a winter wind I realized it was a good choice. Hat is nicely detailed and finished with a thin lining, nothing with that will keep your head any warmer, but it does lend to a more finished look. The outside seams are actually a nice aesthetic touch and give the hat a more - not distinguished, but perhaps distinctive look. The leather is supple and drapes as you would hope. I got the tan version first, but it was too "pale blah" - the light/medium brown is very nice. If I order another one, it'll be the apparently darker chocolate version, which is perhaps a bit dressier, but the brown goes well with somewhat more casual day-wear, jeans & corduroy shirt, leather jacket or field coat. Overall a great cap. It may seem a bit pricey compared to some other choices, but I suspect this might be another case of you getting what you pay for. AND! my wife, with a cruel fashion sense, thinks it looks good on me . . . she doesn't claim I look any better, but that the hat doesn't hurt. High praise.
