Note: I just recently purchased this watch, so I cannot comment on the long-term durability of the product. Also, the price has went up a LOT since I purchased it, so it is not the value it was when I purchased it. I would give it 5 stars if not for the recent drastic price increase.I recently purchased this watch to add to my small but growing watch collection. This is the most beautiful watch that I own, and one of the more beautiful watches out there! The design and large size really makes this watch stand out. This watch will get more complements than most watches many times more expensive. I spend a lot of time just watching the gears move! Stuhrling makes some very nice looking skeleton watches; they even make several models of the Emperor Grand so I would look at all of them before making your choice. If you want a watch that will stand out from the crowd at a reasonable price, this one will do it. So far, it seems to keep time well too.One downside to this watch is its size. While this makes it visually appealing, it makes it difficult for the sleeves of many dress shirts to fit over it. French cuffs generally will fit over it (barely) but many of my button cuff shirts will not. So this probably is not the best choice if this is going to be the only dress watch you own, you need a watch that is slimmer for some shirts.As I mentioned before, I don't know about the long-term durability. I have heard a lot of different things about Stuhrling regarding quality. I believe that this is Chinese made, which does not particularly bother me because so are many watches in this price range, some of which have good quality.
