This is my second Bailey's hat in this color, "satchel," which I had never heard of before, but is the perfect complement to an earth-toned overcoat or jacket, or khaki pants. The hat is top-quality wool felt with a soft but sturdy fabric sweatband, which I much prefer to a stiff and unabsorbent leather band. The trilby-sized brim makes it very versatile as compared to a fedora, allowing it to be worn with the brim up if you prefer to wear it "homburg style."Be careful to have clean hands when touching the crease, as over the years the color will darken a bit as oil from your hands attracts dirt.
